SciTech partners with Peapodicity to Augmentify their museum, offering guests an exciting New Augmented Reality (AR) Trail to enhance hands-on interactive exhibits

[Aurora, Illinois] –Launching at SciTech Hands On Museum’s annual Noon Year’s Eve Party this Saturday, December 31, 2016 10am – 4pm, SciTech has partnered with Peapodicity to offer their guests a test-flight of AugmentifyIt™.

Peapodicity Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Brett Haase will join SciTech for the event and introduce guests to this new interactive way to enjoy the museum. The goals are to “Augmentify the World” and “Bring Learning to Life”.

The new smart device application offers users an opportunity to follow the Augmented Reality Trail. Augi The Robot will lead guests through the museum while teaching them STEAM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) concepts corresponding with current hands-on exhibits. Those who complete the AR Trail will be awarded Bronze, Silver or Gold level completion certificates. This beta-test of the application is available only by signing up for it at the AugmentifyIt™ desk inside SciTech.
