Scout Overnight Camp-Ins

Spend the night in the museum!  Your group will have the entire museum to themselves. The Scouts will have a wonderful time!

  • Overnights run From 6 pm to 9 am on Fridays and Saturdays
  • SciTech suggests booking 3 months in advance if possible for best planning.
  • Enrollment: 50 including chaperones
  • Max Enrollment: 200
  • For safety and security reasons, a 1 child to 1 parent ratio is recommended but accommodations are made for families.


  • Dinner of tasty pizza and juice
  • 2 hours of Hands on STEM Programming (Badge programming available by special booking)
  • Late night snack
  • Breakfast in the AM with juice, coffee, fruit, and donuts
  • Museum exploration time (at night and in morning)
  • Science Activity Tables with “Get up and Do Activities”
  • Discovery Stop Gift Shop open! One of a kind STEM gifts for your budding Scientist.

Explore the science, technology, and careers of astronomy. Scouts will learn to use a real telescope and create their own constellation.

Air of the Wolf
Investigate how solids, liquids, gases – and even plasma – work together in the world around us to make the weather. Scouts will learn how scientists and engineers use this information in their own careers.

Discover the chemical science, technology, and methods that scientists use in the field of Forensics. Scouts will practice these methods and solve their own mysterious investigation.
