SciTech Summer Science Adventure Camps

Incredible Week Long Science Camps for kids 6-9 yrs and 10 yrs. and up!

Camps run from June 24th, 2013 through August 2nd, 2013

CSI: Crime Scene Investigator

CSI: Join our SciTech CSI team to solve science mysteries. Spend the week learning how to find and analyze clues, examine evidence and draw conclusions. We’ll tour the Aurora Police station to see what it means to get “booked” – complete with fingerprints and mug shots!

This camp is offered:
Week 1: June 24th - 28th - Ages 10 years and up
Week 3: July 8th - 12th - Ages 6 - 9 years
Week 5: July 22nd - 26th - Ages 6 - 9 years

Fun with Chemistry

Chemistry is all around us! Explore the exciting world of chemical reactions like explosions. Find out how chemistry and cooking are related. Chemistry never tasted so good!

This Camp is  offered:
Week 1: June 24th - 28th - Ages 6 - 9 years
Week 2: July 1st - 5th - Ages 10 years and up
Week 4: July 15th - 19th - Ages 10 years and up
Week 6: July 29th - August 2nd - Ages 6 - 9 years
 

Totally Ballistics

Newton said, “What goes up, must come down.” We’ll see about that…Launch rockets, candle kites, cannons, tennis ball mortars, and sling a catapult from SciTech’s own outdoor park. Design your own rocket and prepare for blast-off! Who said rocket science was just for NASA?

This Camp is  offered:
Week 2: July 1st - 5th - Ages 6 - 9 years
Week 5: July 22nd - 28th - Ages 10 and up

Lego Robotics

Build and battle your own Go-Bot creations using Lego-Mindstorms in a week of creation and destruction. Go-Bots will be built to code and perform tasks for daily challenges. Bring your big ideas!

This camp is offered:
Week 3: July 8th - July 12th - Ages 10 and up
Week 4: July 15th - July 19th - Ages 6 - 9 years
Week 6: July 29th - August 2nd - Ages 10 and up

Prices for SciTech Summer Camps:

  • Member Price: $250 per Camp
  • Non-Member Price: $275 (first camp)
  • Non-Member Price Multiple Camps: $265 (one child)
  • 10% off for multiple sibling enrollment for the same week

Before and After Care

  • Before Care (8 am- 9 am.): $25 per child per week
  • After Care (3 pm to 5 pm): $45 per child per week
