SciTech Museum Spring Break Camps
SciTech's Two day Camps are an amazing way to engage kid's minds and continue their learning through Spring Break!
- There are three camps offered: Ultimate Predator, Totally Ballistic, or SciTech Theatre Workshop.
- There are two-two day sessions. Choose one camp per session.
- Sign up for both sessions and the kids will have a ton of fun over spring break!
Here are descriptions of each of the three camps!
Ultimate Predator!: Something Large and Hungry is lurking out there in the water...is it The Orca? The Great White Shark? Or is it an Australian Saltwater Crocodile? Predators abound on land, which is the ultimate? The African lion, A Siberian Tiger or the Arctic Polar Bear? Learn about the best hunters in the ocean and on land, and cast your vote for the ULTIMATE PREDATOR!
Totally Ballistic: Whiz! Bam! Boom! Like things that make noise, move fast or travel far? Then this is your camp! Learn about force and inertia by launching rockets, slinging a catapult and shooting tennis ball mortars! A very popular camp!
SciTech Theatre Workshop: New at SciTech! Experience science and theatre in one classroom! Participants will learn the basics of singing, acting and dancing in this fun filled workshop taught by SciTech's very own Theatre Staff. The workshop will culminate with a short performance for family and friends featuring physics, solar system songs and much more!
Spring Break Camps are from 9am-3 pm
Two age groups:
6 yrs to 8 yrs
9 yrs to 12 yrs
Each 2 day camp is $100 per child for members and $110 per child for non-members.
