Designed for our youngest campers, these camps introduce STEAM topics through familiar activities.

Week of June 12 – 16

Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00

Crime Scene Investigation

Don’t miss out on this exciting camp, as we investigate the mysteries of Crime Scene Investigation. You’ll seek out clues, discover whodunit, and learn about the amazing science used by our Police to solve crimes. We’ll even have a visit from the Aurora Police Department, and get to tour their amazing Mobile Command Center.

Digging Dinos

Dinosaurs roam the earth again in this amazing camp!  We’ll learn all about the different types of dinosaurs, from the powerful Tyrannosaurus Rex to the gentle, plant-eating Brachiosaurus.  Be prepared to investigate the incredible science of paleontology!

Week of June 19 – 23

Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Hop in and let’s go as we learn all about how people get around their towns, countries, and the world!  We’ll discover what makes cars go, how trains can carry huge cargo around the country, and how planes take people around the world.  Join us as we investigate the amazing science and technology that makes these incredible machines work.

Bridges Around the World

From San Francisco to London, we’ll explore the world and learn all about the bridges that people use everyday!  We’ll discover the amazing engineering behind these “simple” structures.  You’ll then use what you’ve learned to design and build your own amazing bridges, then test them to see how well they can hold up.

Towering Engineering

Engineers work hard to design incredible skyscrapers in some of the world’s biggest cities.  During this camp, we’ll investigate the amazing science that let’s us build skyscrapers that soar hundreds of feet in the air!  You’ll even build your own engineering marvels in this exciting camp!

Week of July 10 – 14

Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00

Circus Arts

How do people perform the amazing feats we see in circuses?  You’ll be the Ring Leader as you learn the science behind juggling, tight-rope walking, and create your own circus art masterpieces.  The circus is in town, and you won’t want to miss it in this exciting camp!

The Incredible World of Eric Carle

Explore the incredible artistic world of Eric Carle!  Discover the zoo, learn about how food gets to our table, and investigate the magnificent metamorphosis of butterflies as we delve into these classic children’s books.  Don’t miss this amazing combination of art and science.

Week of July 17 – 21

Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00

Down on the Farm

It’s harvest time!  Join us as we learn all about the amazing science behind gardening.  We’ll explore what makes plants grow, how flowers are pollinated, and even grow some of our own beans!  Learning will be in full bloom in this amazing camp!

Dragons: Myth or Fact?

This week we’ll explore the folklore and stories surrounding dragons.  We’ll investigate some of the incredible reptiles and other animals that might have inspired stories about giant, fire-breathing lizards!  We’ll discover how those stories continue to inspire authors and film-makers even today.

Week of July 24 – 28

Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00

Creepy Crawly Insects

Come catch the learning bug with us as we explore the incredible world of insects!  We’ll learn all about insects that creep, crawl, fly, dig, and spin.  You’ll investigate what ants eat, how butterflies fly, and what makes an insect an insect.

Afternoon Session 1:00 – 4:00

Fairy Tale Science

Join us as we explore the science behind your favorite fairy tales!  We’ll make our own potions, craft beautiful works of fairy tale art, and even create our own fairy tales.  You won’t believe the magic that’s in store as we investigate the science and art of fairy tales.

Week of July 17 – 21

Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00

At the Beach

Grab your sunscreen and towel and come join us learn all about the incredible science at the beach!  We’ll investigate how tides work to form tidal pools, explore the amazing wildlife that live near beaches, and discover the amazing power that water can have to shape the land.

Afternoon Session 1:00 – 4:00

Castles: Now and Then

Travel back in time with us to the time of daring knights and towering castles.  We’ll explore what life was like inside of a castle, learn about how medieval people raised animals and grew food inside of castle walls, and even construct our own castles!  Join us on a quest to learn about science and history!
